Burns Night Meal & Whisky tasting
Join us on Saturday 22nd January for a night of Scottish flavours.
A cocktail on arrival followed by a Scottish themed 3-course meal with a matched flight of whiskey to go along with them.
There will also be a themed quiz and even some poetry from the man himself!

Xmas and New Year hours (updated)
We are back open at midday today (Monday 27th December) after our Xmas break! (providing no new guidance from government is issued of course)
The kitchen will also be open 12-2.30pm and 5-9pm for the next few days. Here are the revised hours until the new year…
Easing of restrictions on 19th July
With restrictions being relaxed from Monday the 19th of July, we just wanted to touch base about a few changes at @TheAlexCB1.
Table bookings will no longer be necessary, however we will still take bookings and reserve you your table if you prefer that system. http://www.thealexcambridge.com/bookings/
Ordering will either be via the ordering app or at the bar.
We recommend masks still be worn when moving around the pub and ordering at the bar, however this is personal choice.
Track and trace check-in will still be available if you prefer to continue to use it.
Hand sanitiser units will remain in place and it is good practise to use these.
If you have any symptoms at all please stay home. The virus is still very much an ongoing issue and so we ask you to be respectful, considerate and kind to yourself, to others and the staff.
